Administration vehemently denies reports of resignation by 17 retired patwaris

80 new trainee patwaris attached with retired patwaris- DC Vishesh Sarangal

Jalandhar News: The Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal on Thursday refuted the media reports about resignations of 17 patwaris in the district.

     The news of the 17 resignations had gone viral in a section of media on Thursday evening.

     Denying the reports completely incorrect, the Deputy Commissioner said that as for now, the district administration had not received any resignation from the retired patwaris as mentioned by media reports. He said that the administration had appointed 59 retired patwaris a few times back on contract by the district administration He said that now for their help and minimizing their workload, the administration has attached 80 new trainee patwaris with them.

     Meanwhile ,Retired Kanugo and Patwaris Welfare Association’s General Secretary Makhan Singh Mann also claimed that no resignation was given so far by any member of association and their body has also called a meeting tomorrow in this regard. He also thanked the district administration for attaching 80 trainee patwaris with them.
