Advocate General of Punjab launches AGCMS
The new system will promote strong sense of cooperation among the legal communities in Punjab.
Chandigarh News: In order to enhance operational efficacy, foster collaborative synergy, and expeditiously navigate the intricate labyrinth of legal processes, Advocate General Punjab, Sh. Vinod Ghai, on Saturday unveiled the Advocate Case Management System Punjab (AGCMS Punjab) Phase 1 and 2 at Punjab Bhawan here. This technologically advanced system stands poised to redefine the modus operandi of case management within the hallowed halls of the Advocate General’s office in the state.
The spokesperson of Punjab and Haryana High Court informed that AGCMS Punjab represents a revolutionary leap forward in the landscape of legal case administration.
According to the spokesperson, AGCMS, an Automated Data Synchronization tool will provides real-time data synchronization facilities, easing the process of providing instant information regarding case status, hearing schedules, and decisions. It is a secure and organized system for efficient document management, optimizing data retrieval protocols while providing easy access to case-related documents.
Notably, this system facilitates the seamless dissemination of relevant information, legal research, and case-related strategies by promoting strong coordination among legal communities. Through improved data protection protocols, the system also strengthens data security through effective security mechanisms while maintaining confidential legal information. A dedicated application is also available for convenient and easy access to information for all the law enforcement officers.
Advocate General Mr. Vinod Ghai, in his address, praised the eminent personalities for their valuable contributions and said that this platform marks revolutionary reforms in the legal field of Punjab. AGCMS Punjab Phase 1 and 2 will facilitate our law officers in handling complex litigation efficiently. He said that this shows our unwavering commitment to usher in modernization by speeding up the process of dispensing justice.
In this inaugural ceremony, all honorable law officers of the Advocate General’s office, Senior Additional Advocate General Mr. IPS Dhanna, Additional Advocate General Aman Pal, Hon’ble IT Committee’s Anu Pal DAG Punjab, Abhay Pal Gill DAG Punjab, Arjun Sheoran AAG Punjab, Arun Gupta AAG Punjab, Jaideep Pathania, founder of Provakil, and AGCMS Partner Shashwat Sikka were present.
