After arrest, Amritpal Singh sent to Dibrugarh jail

Punjab E News: Khalistani sympathiser Amritpal Singh was arrested from Punjab’s Moga district on Sunday, police said. He is being taken to Assam’s Dibrugarh jail. “He is an NSA subject and will be taken to Dibrugarh,” said a Punjab Police officer.
Earlier, the central government had also become alert after initial indications of Amritpal’s links with the ISI. Amritpal is suspected to have received funding from abroad. His travelling in expensive vehicles is being linked to this. Intelligence agencies say that Amritpal Singh is procuring weapons from Pakistan through his spy agency Inter-Services Intelligence and trying to divide Punjab on communal lines.
