Bhagwant Singh Mann government gets thumbs-up from Mukerian traders for taking initiatives to boost the industries in Punjab
Mukerian: Responding positively to the policies of the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the traders of Mukerian and surrounding areas on Saturday expressed their appreciation for the industry-friendly decisions of the state government.
Sanjeev Anand, Secretary of the Rice Millers Association, said that he had applied for a new unit under the Right to Business. Astonishingly, all approvals were received within a few days. Previously, approval for setting up the industry was not granted so promptly. He added that the Bhagwant Singh Mann government is taking revolutionary steps by creating an industry-friendly environment in Punjab, which is now evident on the ground as well.
Amrik Singh Gaggi, president of Vyapar Mandal Dasuya, said that after the formation of the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, trade in the state has flourished. In particular, ‘Inspector Raj’ has been abolished. He praised the government-business initiative and said that this has never happened before. He praised the decisions taken by the Punjab government to promote the industry. Apart from this, he also demanded a nursing college in Dasuya.
Gopi Chand Kapoor, President of Vyapar Mandal Hoshiarpur, said that the steps taken by the Punjab Government have begun to strengthen the confidence of both the general populace and the state’s industries. He demanded the implementation of a health insurance scheme for traders.
Mukerian entrepreneur Thakur Kulwant Singh expressed appreciation for the initiatives aimed at promoting Punjab’s industries through the Invest Punjab portal. He said that he had applied online to establish his small-scale unit in Mukerian and was pleased to receive all the necessary approvals within just 15 days.
Master Sewa Singh said that he is grateful to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for taking commendable steps for promoting business in this small town. Due to his industry-friendly policy, the change is clearly visible in Punjab. The trade which had migrated from Punjab has started returning to the state.
Talwara businessman Narinder Puri said that initiating this program from Mukerian is a positive sign for the small-town industry. He commended the government’s decision to issue WhatsApp numbers for gathering suggestions from the industry and businesses.
Ajit Narang, representing the Rice Millers Association, praised the government’s initiatives for businesses in Mukerian. He said that previously, there was little attention given to traders in the town but proactive stance of the Punjab government, under the leadership of CM Bhagwant Singh Mann, is promoting the state’s industry through revolutionary decisions. He also presented some demands on behalf of the rice millers.
