BJP delegation to meet CEO to seek probe into Punjab’s liquor policy
Chandigarh: A delegation of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is going to meet the Chief Election Officer today. The delegation led by BJP State President Sunil Jakhar is going to submit a memorandum against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to the Election Commission.
The BJP had alleged the previous day that Punjab’s liquor policy is also on the lines of the Delhi government. The ED should also investigate the Punjab liquor policy.
According to information released by the BJP office, the delegation will appear before the Election Commission after 12 noon on Saturday.
BJP state president Sunil Jakhar informed that the code of conduct has been imposed and no department is now directly under the governments. Therefore, they will take their memorandum and go to the Election Commission.
