Bomb threat on Birmingham-Amritsar flight, investigation underway

An Air India flight from Birmingham to Amritsar airport was delayed due to a bomb threat. The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) team deployed in the security of the airport surrounded the flat from all sides and started investigating. The details have not been disclosed by the officials yet.
      The same flight was scheduled to fly back to Birmingham from Amritsar airport at 2.30 pm on Monday, but the flight did not take off till 5 pm. It is being said that if everything is found satisfactory during the investigation and the flight is likely to take off after 6pm.
      Air India flight AI118 from Birmingham landed at Guru Ramdas International Airport in Amritsar at around 8 am on Monday. After this, all the passengers checked out.
Meanwhile, in the toilet of the aircraft, the sanitation worker found a slip, on which the bomb threat was written.
