Chandigarh grenade blast: Rs 2 lakh reward announced for information on suspects

Chandigarh: The Chandigarh Police has announced a reward of Rs 2 lakh for information leading to the arrest of two other suspects involved in the bomb blast case.

An explosion took place in a house in Chandigarh’s Sector 10 area on Wednesday evening, damaging windows and flower pots in the residential area, police officials said.

A reward of Rs 2 lakh has been announced for any information leading to the arrest of the two suspects involved in the blast. It can be reported on the control room number 0172-2749194 or 112 and WhatsApp number 9465121000.

Sub-Inspector Lakhwinder Singh said that the investigation in the case is going on and a team of Central Forensic Science Laboratory will continue to investigate the incident site today.

He said the force has been deployed to protect the evidence. The investigation could not be completed due to darkness last night, a three-wheeler has been recovered, but the accused are yet to be nabbed and the investigation is on, the official said.
