Congress leader Mohinder Singh KP joins Akali Dal, to contest from Jalandhar

Chandigarh: Congress leader Mohinder Singh KP today joined the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD). Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal visited KP’s house and inducted him into the party.

The Congress in Doaba has suffered a major setback with former Congress president and former MEMBER of Parliament Mohinder Singh KP joining the Akali Dal.

KP is a big leader of the Dalit community. Interestingly, he is also a relative of former chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi, the Congress candidate from Jalandhar.
