Pakistan’s Punjab government is going to build a “Darshan Resort” near Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Kartarpur, which will enable Sikh pilgrims coming from the country and abroad to stay there and also get a glimpse of Gurdwara Sahib. Pakistan will spend 300 million Pakistani rupees to build it and it will be a 5-storey building.
Sharing information with Pakistan media, Raja Jahangir Anwar, Tourism Secretary of Pakistan Punjab, said that the construction of the five-storey Darshan Resort with an estimated cost of PKR 300 million will begin next month. This project has been done keeping in mind the convenience of Sikhs coming from all over the world.
