Farmers will take a decision today to end protest in Sector-34, Chandigarh

Chandigarh: Farmers will make a crucial decision today (Friday) on whether to escalate their movement or withdraw, based on eight key issues, including agricultural policy. An important meeting is scheduled for 11 a.m. in Sector-34, where farmers will discuss their next course of action.

On Thursday, farmers engaged in a three-hour meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and other officials. Although extensive discussions were held on all issues, the farmers refrained from making any immediate decisions. They stated that they would convene today to finalize their strategy.
