FIR against Canadian citizen in Jalandhar for immigration fraud

Jalandhar: The Jalandhar Commissionerate Police has registered a case against an NRI for obtaining an immigration license from the government by furnishing fake documents in Punjab’s Jalandhar.

The accused is an NRI Canada citizenship holder. A case has been registered against Anmoldeep Singh (earlier Maqsuda, Vivekananda Park), a resident of Canada, under various sections of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act.

The accused is yet to be arrested. This case has been registered in Navi Baradari police station.
