Five members of a family killed in blast in Jalandhar’s Avtar Nagar
Jalandhar News: A fire broke out in a house in street number 13 of Avtar Nagar here after a powerful explosion. Five members of the family were killed in the accident.
The deceased have been identified as Mansha (15), Diya (8), Ruchi, Inderpal and the owner of the house, Yashpal. The sixth injured has been admitted to a private hospital. The cause of the fire is said to be a gas leak from the fridge kept in the house. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
The fire brigade team reached the spot and brought the fire under control. The investigation is underway.
