Former minister Sunder Sham Arora arrested

Former minister Sunder Sham Arora has been arrested by vigilance. 

The former minister is accused of disproportionate assets. A vigilance team reached his house in Hoshiarpur late at night and also conducted a search. Arora, who was industries and commerce minister in the Captain government, has now joined the Punjab BJP.

Former minister Sunder Sham Arora was summoned by the Punjab Vigilance for questioning in Chandigarh on Saturday. Earlier on Wednesday, he was questioned at the Mohali Vigilance headquarters. It is being told that in the disproportionate assets case, he could not satisfy the vigilance with the answers nor give concrete evidence, after which he has been arrested.

2.5 hours of house search

After the arrest, a vigilance team reached his House in Hoshiarpur around 11 pm. Where the house was searched for about 2.5 hours.
