Friendly cricket match held between Warriors NGO and Dubb cricket teams  

Jalandhar: A friendly cricket match was held today between Warrior NGO and Dubb cricket club, which was won by the club here in the premises of Jalandhar Heights Apartments.


 
   Vice President AAP (youth wing) Gurinder Singh Shergill while presiding over the event lauded the efforts of Warrior NGO for continuously holding sports events in the society. He said that this initiative would not only promote sports culture among residential societies but also infuse a sense of sportsmanship among our future generations. He appealed to other NGOs to follow the steps of Warrior Group so that the essence of sports culture could be taken to every nook and corner of the city.
 
    During a 20- over friendly cricket match the Warrior Group led by Varun Kohli scored 225 scores at the fall of six wickets while Dubb cricket club led by its captain Harpreet Singh made 227 scores at the loss of seven wickets, thereby becoming the winner of this friendly match. Anudeep Bajaj, Sanjiv Arora, Nitin Puri, Sanjiv Ahuja, Davinder Saini, Vishal Gumber, Paras Juneja, Vishal Chadda, Manpreet Singh Gaba, and other players participated from both the teams.  

    Earlier Rajinder Raja, Varun Kohli and other members of society welcomed the dignitaries on their arrival.
