From street to social media, Farm leaders’ accounts suspended

Chandigarh: Different battles are being waged on social media platforms to ensure the success of the farmers’ march to Delhi. With the commencement of the fight over the minimum support price, farmer leaders and their supporters have become active on social media.

Conversely, numerous accounts on social media site X belonging to prominent farmer leaders and their supporters have been suspended over the past few days. Consequently, a contingency plan is being devised to address this issue.

Upon the suspension of these accounts, farmers are endorsing alternative accounts, urging their supporters to follow suit.

With the closure of accounts belonging to all prominent leaders, the initiative is being carried forward by farmers under the banner of Kisan Forced Morcha, disseminating various types of information.

However, this account has also been suspended. Presently, farmers are promoting the account of Bharatiya Kisan Union Ekta Pradhan.
