IKG PTU VC Prof Dr Mittal inaugurates ultra-modern admission cell

Kapurthala: Ultra-Modern Admission Cell (University Campuses) was inaugurated on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024, by Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Susheel Mittal at I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (I.K.G. PTU) main campus Kapurthala road. All kinds of admissions related information will be provided on one desk at this newly established admission cell to the students and their parents coming to take admission for the admission session 2024-25 or approaching through email, messages, telephone etc.

After the inaugural ceremony, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Susheel Mittal addressed all the senior officers, faculty members and staff present on this occasion that the focus of every educational institution should be to provide maximum facilities to its students at such a single window platform. It is always important for student convenience. He said that the biggest need and initiative for the university is to do better admissions and work more on placements. On this occasion he motivated everyone for the quality work towards quality admissions at university all campuses & affiliated colleges. He directed every department to give priority to the work related to admissions from now till the end of admission session 2024-25.

Chief Coordinator Admissions cum Dean Academic Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Chawla said that the students and their parents visiting from all over the country for admission in the university, can get all kinds of information in the admission cell like admission process, fee structure, scholarship, online application, special opportunities etc. All provisions for infrastructure visit will be provided at this admission cell too. Apart from this, every kind of query through email, telephone, message information related to admission will be provided promptly.

On this occasion, Dean P&EP Dr. R.P.S. Bedi, Dean R&D Dr. Hitesh Sharma, Dean Student Welfare Dr. Gaurav Bhargava, Dean Faculty Dr. Satbir Singh, Controller Examinations Dr. Paramjeet Singh, Finance Officer Dr. Sukhbir Singh Walia and others were present.
