Jalandhar Lok Sabha bypoll: Former Minister Chunnilal Bhagat says Mohinder joined AAP without informing him, gets emotional

Jalandhar News: In Punjab, BJP’s Jalandhar West in-charge Mohinder Bhagat joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday. His father and senior BJP leader emotionally in front of the media that Mohinder joined the Aam Aadmi Party without informing him and stressed that he must have consulted him at least once before joining.

The former minister said he had given more than 60 years of his life to the party and in return, the party also gave him full respect. But without any discussion in the house, Mohinder Bhagat has decided to leave the party on his own. He was also informed by his younger son that Mohinder had joined the Aam Aadmi Party.
He said he had been associated with the party since the time of the Jana Sangh. Our family is identified with the BJP. The Bhagat fraternity still does swear by his name.
In 1997, he won the seat by defeating the Congress on the strength of his fraternity, but sadly, he does not know who has tricked his son. He said he would talk to Mohinder when he came home.
