Lok Sabha polls: SAD-BSP alliance unbreakable: Punjab BSP President
Jalandhar: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leadership in Punjab said their alliance with the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) was “completely unbreakable” and seat-sharing for the Lok Sabha polls would be discussed at the party high command level.
Earlier, BSP state president Jasvir Garhi had said that no alliance will be formed and the party will contest the upcoming parliamentary elections alone.
“We will not allow any trouble to the alliance on behalf of the BSP and will fully support it,” Garhi said. Garhi shared the message on his Facebook page and also shared a picture of BSP leaders standing outside the residence of their party supremo Mayawati.
“We will continue to rope in BSP cadres in all constituencies for the sake of alliance and strengthening of the party,” Garhi said. The seat-sharing issue will be discussed between the heads of the two parties at the high command level.”
