Mann Ki Baat: PM Modi lauds awareness campaigns against drugs in Punjab
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday called for saving the future generation from the clutches of drugs and said efforts have to be made together and at all levels. At the same time, PM Modi praised the awareness campaign started against drugs in Punjab.
He said that many social service organizations of Punjab are running this campaign. The younger generation has to be kept away from drugs.
“We all have to work together to eradicate drugs. India has taken major action against drugs,” he said.
Modi said that ‘Vada’ clubs against drugs were added in Chandigarh. Many sports groups have been formed in Punjab. These efforts are commendable and people must join together to annihilate drugs.
