Minister Kuldeep Dhaliwal’s efforts helped woman stranded in Iraq return home
Punjab E News: With the efforts of NRI Affairs Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, the woman stranded in Iraq has returned to her home. Giving information about this, Kuldeep Dhaliwal said that about 10 months ago, a woman from Amritsar became a victim of fraud by a thug travel agent. The travel agent sent the woman abroad by saying that she was packing work in Iraq. But the woman’s passport and the said documents were seized there, leaving her stuck there.
The woman somehow contacted NRI Affairs Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal and appealed to him to return home. After which the minister took action and ensured safe return of the woman.
