MP Sandeep Pathak holds meeting with AAP leaders to formulate strategise for by-elections in Punjab
Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, who was slated to visit Jalandhar following his by-election victory in the West constituency, was unable to make the trip due to ill health. In his absence, Delhi Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak chaired a meeting with several Punjab ministers and MLAs at a hotel in Jalandhar.
The meeting was held privately, with only party workers in attendance and no media presence. During the gathering, Pathak expressed gratitude to the workers and leaders who contributed to the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) success in the West constituency. He specifically thanked the residents of Ward 62 in Jalandhar, where AAP secured 85 percent of the votes.
As by-elections are set to take place in four districts of Punjab and upcoming elections in Haryana, AAP leaders are focusing on maintaining their winning momentum. Pathak discussed the next steps and campaign strategies with state ministers and MLAs. He also outlined plans for the Haryana elections.
Pathak conveyed that Chief Minister Mann, though absent due to his health, would soon visit Jalandhar to personally thank the constituents for their support.
