No canal will be built, Punjab does not have water for anyone

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today said that Punjab has five rivers but it does not have water, after a meeting with his Haryana counterpart Manohar Lal Khattar on the SYL link canal remained inconclusive. He said that SYL link will not build a canal, if there is no water then why the canal is needed?

Mann said that there is not a single drop of water to give water to Haryana as the water level in Punjab has already gone down drastically. The Chief Minister said that the Central Government should give water to Haryana from Yamuna.
