Now parking is free in Chandigarh, MC to provide 20,000 free water to every household

Chandigarh: The Chandigarh Municipal Corporation has made 20,000 litres of water free per month per household for the people of the city today.

For this, a table agenda was brought to the municipal corporation. This agenda was brought by Congress councilor Taruna Mehta.

Apart from this, all parking lots in Chandigarh have been made free. In this, no parking charge will be charged from any state vehicle. Its table agenda has also been passed in the meeting of the corporation today.

At the same time, the BJP had suggested to make 40 thousand liters of water free instead of 20 thousand liters. But due to lack of majority, the corporation did not accept it. The proposal will now be sent to the local government department of Chandigarh for approval.
