NSUI’s big win, AAP’s student wing suffers setback; Jatinder Singh is new PU President
Chandigarh News: The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), the student wing of the Congress, on Wednesday won the post of President in the Panjab University students’ union elections.
The Aam Aadmi Party’s student wing Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti (CYSS) has suffered a major setback. The CYSS had won the election of president of the students’ union in PU in the last elections.
On this, the organization had to be satisfied in the second place. On the other hand, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the student wing of the BJP, came third. NSUI candidate Jatinder Singh has won the election for the post of president of the students’ union. Jatinder Singh won by a margin of 603 votes.
