One children killed by stray dogs, another critical in Punjab 

Ferozepur News: Two children were bitten and injured by stray dogs while they were playing outside their house in Zira in Ferozepur district. 
      One child died, while the other injured child has been admitted to the Medical College in Faridkot. 
Sanjay Kumar, a resident of Banda (Uttar Pradesh), said that he lives in Zira. His cousin’s son Roshan (6) and second child Shiva (5) were playing outside their aunt’s house. The dogs attacked and injured the two children.
       Roshan died on the spot after being bitten by dogs while people rescued Shiva and rushed him to a hospital. 
       The child’s condition is said to be critical. Farmer leader Mangal Singh says that there are many stray dogs in the area. These dogs keep attacking people every day. He demanded the Punjab government to provide financial assistance to the family of the deceased child.
