Parents offer prayers at Sri Akal Takht for the release of Amritpal Singh and his associates from jail

Amritsar News: Family members of Amritpal Singh, the head of the ‘Waris Punjab De’ organization, along with the parents of the jailed youth prayed for the release of all the prisoners at Sri Akal Takht. 
      These families will go to the Five Takht Sahibs and pray for the release of this campaign, which has been started from Sri Akal Takht yesterday.
     Amritpal Singh and nine of his associates are currently lodged in Assam’s Dabirugarh jail. 
      A case has been registered against him by the Punjab Police under the National Security Act.
Balwinder Kaur, mother of Amritpal Singh, said that the ardas ceremony at the five Takht sahibs for the release of bandi Singhs has been started with the ardas ceremony held at Sri Akal Takht. In this regard, bhog of Akhand Path was first held in Sri Darbar Sahib group in the morning and later prayers were offered for their release at Sri Akal Takht.
