People of Punjab will reply to Amit Shah’s threat on June 1, will get BJP’s security deposits forfeited – Kejriwal
Fatehgarh Sahib: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday campaigned for AAP l’s Fatehgarh Sahib candidate Gurpreet Singh GP. Kejriwal held a big roadshow in Mandi Gobindgarh with the AAP candidate and appealed to the people to make Gurpreet GP win. AAP MLA Gurinder Singh Gary Warring was also present in the roadshow.
Addressing the people during the road show, Kejriwal said that you have given chances to candidates of all other parties, but no one did anything for you nor did anyone raise their voice for your rights in the Parliament. So this time reject all of them and make the Aam Aadmi Party candidate win with a record margin. Our candidates understand all your problems. They will raise your issues in the Parliament and fight with the Central Government for your rights.
Kejriwal said that I have come to appeal to you to save the country’s democracy and constitution. You people gave us a huge majority in the assembly two years ago. You gave us 92 out of 117 seats. These are the Lok Sabha elections. This time strengthen us at the center. Elect the Aam Aadmi Party candidates from all 13 seats. All our MPs will raise the voice of the people of Punjab and get all the issues resolved at the center. When we will have 13 MPs from Punjab, the central government cannot stop even ₹1 of Punjab’s funds.
Kejriwal said that I am also asking you for 13 seats to end BJP’s dictatorship and hooliganism. BJP is discriminating against Punjab. Thousands of crores of rupees of Punjab’s funds have been stopped. Just two days ago, Amit Shah threatened the people of Punjab that after June 4, he will topple the AAP government of Punjab and remove Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. So do not vote for the BJP at any cost. This time on June 1, answer Amit Shah’s threat by voting for the Aam Aadmi Party.
Kejriwal said that in 2022 you elected the honest government of the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab, due to which many big works have been done here in the last two years. Now people are getting free electricity. Mohalla clinics and Schools of Eminence are being built. For the first time, about 50000 youth got government jobs without recommendation and bribe. All this was possible because the Aam Aadmi Party government is honest. He said that in the entire country, electricity is free only in Punjab and Delhi because the Aam Aadmi Party government is honest. Whereas electricity is very expensive in BJP-ruled states Gujarat, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
Kejriwal said that BJP is trying to scare us with ED-CBI and jail, but we are disciples of Bhagat Singh, they cannot scare us. We will continue to raise our voice against the atrocities of the BJP. He said that right after the announcement of elections, they sent me to jail because Prime Minister Modi was afraid that if Kejriwal campaigned across the country, then the BJP will significantly lose seats.
