Chandigarh: Punjab BJP president Ashwani Sharma has resigned from his post on Monday. A new president is likely to be announced soon. According to information received from sources, Sunil Jakhar can be made the new president of Punjab BJP.
Former Transport Minister Master Mohan Lal said that Punjab BJP may get a new president by this evening. Sources say that ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, presidents of 16 states of BJP have been changed.
