Punjab Cabinet approves new excise policy, liquor vends to be auctioned through e-tendering

Chandigarh: The Punjab Cabinet on Thursday approved the state’s new excise policy. Under the new policy, liquor vends will be auctioned through e-tendering.

The Aam Aadmi Party-led Bhagwant Mann government has set a revenue target of Rs 10,020 crore from liquor sales.
