Punjab, Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh to go to polls in last phase on June 1, result on June 4

Chandigarh: The Election Commission has announced the dates for the Lok Sabha elections.

Polling for 13 seats in Punjab, one seat in Chandigarh and four in Himachal Pradesh will be held in the seventh and final phase on June 1.

Counting will take place on June 4.

Nominations for all three places will begin on May 7. Nominations can be filed till the 14th of May. May 17 is the last date for withdrawal of nominations.

With the announcement of election dates today, the Code of Conduct came into force across the country.
