Punjab government and Patwari-Kanungo face-to-face: No work at additional charge posts by Patwaris; 3193 Circle vacant
Punjab News: In Punjab, the government and employees have come face to face. A situation of confrontation has started to form between the two. After the strict attitude of the Chief Minister and the implementation of the ESMA Act in the state, patwari-kanungo has not gone on strike from today, but he will work only in their Patwar circle from today.
Patwaris have made it clear that they will not work in additional 5 to 6 circles.
Patwaris have also asked the government to recruit new recruits on the 3193 Patwar circles in the state which are vacant.
Patwari-Kanungo Union said that at present only 1523 Patwaris are looking after the work of all 4716 Patwar circles in the state. Apart from this, he has been given many additional responsibilities. But still the government finds all patwari-kanungo corrupt.
