Punjab Government will make the Terms and Conditions more easier to provide benefits to the construction workers: Anmol Gagan Maan

Construction workers will be able to avail government schemes from the day they register themselves*

Chandigarh: The Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will further ease the terms and conditions to raise the standard of living of the construction workers and provide benefits to them. The aim of the government is to ensure that construction workers do not face any difficulty in availing government schemes.

Giving more information in this regard, Minister of Labour, Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Investment Promotion and Hospitality, Anmol Gagan Mann said that with the aim of providing more benefits to the construction workers by the Punjab Government, the terms and conditions of the welfare schemes of the Punjab Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board will be more simplified. She said that now the construction workers will be able to take advantage of the welfare schemes of the board just by getting their registration done.

Minister further added that a mobile app ‘Punjab Kirti Sahayak ‘ is available for the convenience of construction workers. She said that on this mobile app, the construction worker can register himself from his mobile to take advantage of the welfare schemes of the government, with which he does not even need to go to the Seva Kendra at the expense of his daily wages.

The minister appealed to the construction workers of the state to register themselves as much as possible to avail the benefits of the government schemes. She said that the state government is continuously striving for the welfare of the construction workers.
