Punjab tableau on Republic Day: ‘Furnish proof of claims, I will quit politics,’ CM Mann dares Sunil Jakhar on his allegations
Lambasting the Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar for his allegations that CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s photo was on tableau that led to rejection of Republic Day tableau by the Centre, Chief Minister Mann dared Jakhar to provide evidence for his allegations, asserting that he would quit politics if Jakhar could substantiate his claims.
Addressing the media in Ludhiana, CM Mann took a swipe at Jakhar, highlighting his recent entry into the BJP and suggesting he lacked proficiency in deceit. The CM stated that if Jakhar failed to produce evidence, he should refrain from visiting Punjab and issue an unconditional apology to its people for misleading them.
During a press conference yesterday, Jakhar claimed that the AAP government had insisted on the tableau carrying Mann and AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal’s photos, leading to its rejection.
