Punjab Women Commission seeks report from police within one week from police on Jazzy B Song ‘Madak Shakeena Di’ sends notice to singer Jazzy B for using objectionable words against women in song

Chandigarh: The Punjab State Commission for Women has sought a report from the police over an objectionable word in Punjabi singer Jazzy B’s new song.

Taking cognizance, the State Women’s Commission has issued a notice to seek reply within one week from the director, Bureau of Investigation.

Following this, the notice was sent to Jazzy B on the same day it was his birthday yesterday.

In fact, Jazzy-B launched the song ‘Madak Shakinan Di’ last month. The Punjabi song is written by Jeet Kaddonwala and he has also been sent a notice for the song. The song uses objectionable words about women. In this, women have been compared with sheep.
