Release of Sikh prisoners: Arrested Sikh activists to be produced in district court today

Punjabenews: The Chandigarh Police has registered a case under 17 sections in connection with yesterday’s clash between the Rashtriya Insaaf Morcha and the police at the Chandigarh border.

An FIR has been registered against an unidentified person, including seven organisers. The FIR states that 12 pro-Khalistan organisations have staged a sit-in.
A total of eight FIRs, including Gurcharan Singh Dharmi Pita, Balwinder Singh, Amar Singh Chahal, have been booked on the orders of the Duty Magistrate. The accused, who carried out the violence at the Mohali border, will appear before the court today.
