SGPC convenes general session on June 26 to protest against Mann govt’s decision

Chandigarh: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has convened a general session on June 26 in this regard, rejecting the amendments made by the Punjab government in the Vidhan Sabha to the Sikh Gurdwaras Act, 1925.
    Talking to reporters here today, SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami said that the history of the day would be written with black letters in Punjab and the Sikh panth. “It is a unilateral decision of the AAP government and there is direct interference in the Sikh religion.”
Advocate Dhami said that today after 103 years in the history of the Sikh community, there has been an attack by the present government of Punjab.
