Punjab E News: SGPC president Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has taken strong note of the threats issued on social media to the management of a gurdwara in Charkhi Dadri in Haryana over the installation of hoardings demanding the release of Sikh prisoners and vowed to stand with the gurdwara management.
According to the information, The President of Charkhi Dadri Gurdwara Sahib, Neeraj Singh, has given a written complaint to the local police station, saying that he was being harassed by some people for putting up posters related to the release of Sikh prisoners.
SGPC president Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami said it was not a crime to seek the release of the detainees and it was a demand of the entire Sikh community. There is resentment among the Sikhs all over the country over the non-release of the Sikh prisoners as despite completing their sentences, injustice is being done to the Sikhs who have been languishing in the jails of the country for three-three decades.
