1984 anti-Sikh riots: Court defers hearing against Jagdish Tytler till January 9

A court today asked the counsel for Congress leader Jagdish Tytler to submit a list of FIRs registered by the Delhi Police and the CBI in the 1984 Sikh riots and the outcome of its probe and trials. 
      Tytler, the accused in the case, appeared through video conferencing. The case pertains to the killing of Sikhs at Pul Bangash Gurdwara on November 1, 1984.
      A supplementary charge sheet was filed. Special Judge Rakesh Sial adjourned the hearing till January 9 after hearing the defence counsel’s submission that certified copies of the previous charge sheets were not received.
