SGPC to set up printing press in US to publish ‘saroops’

Amritsar News: The SGPC has once again decided to set up its own press in the US to publish the ‘saroops’ of the Guru Granth Sahib. The press will be set up in Tracy, California and a religious preaching center will be set up here. 
        The decision was taken at a meeting of the SGPC’s internal committee. During this time, it has been decided to give 4 percent dearness allowance to the employees.
       Talking to the media after presiding over the meeting at the SGPC headquarters, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami said that late Didar Singh Bains had given 14.5 acres of land to the SGPC in Ubacity, where activities would be started by setting up a Dharam Prachar Kendra. Similarly, as per the proposal made by NRI Sikh Gian Singh Sandhu Canada and prominent businessman Karnail Singh Sandhu USA, a centre of SGPC will also be set up in Tracy, California.
