Sukhbir Badal dissolves Shiromani Akali Dal’s core committee

Chandigarh: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal today dissolved the party’s core committee during a meeting with the senior leadership. The party president has dissolved the core committee today before appearing at Sri Akal Takht Sahib.

However, the party’s working committee had recently authorised party president Sukhbir Singh Badal to restructure the party’s organisational structure.

The meeting, chaired by Sukhbir Badal, was attended by senior party leaders Balwinder Singh Bhunder, Maheshinder Singh Grewal, Dr. Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president Harjinder Singh Dhami was also present on the occasion.

After the meeting, Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema said that in the first phase, the present core committee of the party has been dissolved today.
