Surprise night operations conducted by DGP across four Punjab districts

Chandigarh: In a series of late-night surprise inspections, law enforcement authorities carried out Night Domination Operations across SAS Nagar, Ludhiana, Khanna, and Fatehgarh Sahib districts.

The operation focused on police stations and strategic checkpoints to assess the on-ground performance of local police teams.

Officers engaged with the public, gathering feedback on their interactions with the police. Citizens reportedly expressed feeling safer with the increased police presence in their areas.

Moreover, the efficiency of crime combat apps such as VAHAN and PAIS was reviewed during these inspections, with vehicle checks continuing as part of an ongoing effort to enhance public safety and strengthen law enforcement measures, officials said.
