Batala News: Tension prevailed in Sadarang village near Batala at around 8.30 am today after a 12-year-old boy desecrated the Guru Granth Sahib. The incident of sacrilege was recorded in the CCTV cameras installed inside the gurdwara. The child first spat in the prasad and later tore the organ of the Guru Granth Sahib and quickly ran away from the gurdwara. The incident came to light when the granthi of the gurdwara came to know about the incident when he saw the handkerchief being tampered with.
