Two NRI brothers adopt Jalandhar’s Sidhupur village

In a noble cause to protect the environment and transform the village, the two NRI brothers have adopted their native village Sidbupur in Lohian block in the Jalandhar district.

Settled in USA, Jasvir Singh Joshan and Avtar Singh Joshan are still connected to their roots and concerned about Punjab and its people, therefore, to encourage the farmers to not burn the stubble this time, both brothers have announced to give them Rs 1500 per acre to a farmer, who opt for stubble management rather than burning it.

Both brothers have been giving grants to village and also organising free health and eye check up camps every year in the village.
