On Kargil Vijay Diwas, CM Mann announces increase in pension amount of martyr’s family

Amritsar News:  Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann addressed the media from War Heroes Memorial, Amritsar on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas today. He warmly saluted the brave soldiers who were martyred during the Kargil War. On the occasion, CM Mann also met the families of the martyred soldiers. Who sacrificed their lives for the country. “Had our youth not shown bravery, the map of the country would have been different today.”

Cm Mann said, “In case of martyrdom in any accident, army personnel will get ex-gratia. If anyone is injured, Rs 10 lakh will be given, which will be 50 per cent. The pension of the family of the martyr of the First and Second World Wars has been increased from 6, 000 to 10, 000. In case of 51 to 75 per cent injuries, the government will give a compensation of Rs 20 lakh. If 75 to 99 percent of the injured are injured, they will be given Rs 40 lakh.
