CM Mann and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal dedicated 500 Aam Aadmi Clinic to the People of Punjab

Punjabenews: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday said that the state government is making concerted efforts for carving out a ‘healthy and rangla’ Punjab by ensuring comprehensive development in every sector.

Addressing the gathering after dedicating 500th Aam Aadmi Clinic during an impressive function here on Friday, the Chief Minister, accompanied by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, said that the state government has already set the wheels in motion for this noble cause . He said that massive work is being done in field of health, education and employment sector which will bear fruits soon. Bhagwant Mann said that in order to provide quality and timely health services to the people 100 Aam Aadmi clinics were already dedicated to the people on 75th Independence Day.

The Chief Minister said that these clinics are offering 41 health packages with nearly 100 clinical tests free of cost to the people. He said that till now 10.26 lakh people had got free treatment from these Aam Aadmi clinics operational since month of August. Likewise, Bhagwant Mann said that 1.24 lakh patients have undergone free clinical tests in these clinics.

The Chief Minister said that these clinics are acting as a cornerstone in the revamp of the healthcare system in Punjab. He said that it is a matter of great pride and satisfaction that the Government of India (GoI) has also lauded this path breaking initiative of the state government to deliver health services to people. Bhagwant Mann said that now with the opening of more than 400 Aam Aadmi Clinics Punjab will script a new success story in the Healthcare sector by functioning of 500 such clinics.

The Chief Minister said that this revolutionary initiative will rejuvenate the Healthcare system in state. He said that setting up of these clinics is a humble effort by the state government to transform Punjab into a healthy and disease free state by imparting quality Health services. Bhagwant Mann envisioned that the residents of the state will no longer have to shelve huge money in hospitals for getting treatment and diagnostic facilities adding that patients can avail the medical services by stepping into the clinics or can avail facility of online appointment.

Welcoming Arvind Kejriwal on the sacred land, the Chief Minister said that taking inspiration from his visionary leadership and guidance, Punjab had taken this citizen centric decision. He said that Delhi government had pioneered this pro-people initiative, which had immensely benefitted the people in national capital. Bhagwant Mann said that other states are now replicating this model to bring much needed reforms in education and health sectors.

The Chief Minister said that
the online data of every patient visiting these clinics will be maintained across the state. He said that this will help in data compilation for formulation of strategy to combat deadly diseases in the state. Bhagwant Mann said that it will ensure research based diagnose and treatment of the residents of the state in an efficient and foolproof manner.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is spending every single penny of tax payer’s money for their well being. He said that this is not freebees but developmental expenditure which aims at ensuring the welfare of people and progress of state. Bhagwant Mann said that this is a paradoxical situation where the Aam Aadmi Party is talking about development whereas the other parties are pursuing divisive agenda.

The Chief Minister further said that the state government has started school of eminence in the state. He said that these schools will ensure holistic development of the students studying in these government schools. Bhagwant Mann said that development of student will be ensured as per his interest and schools will groom specialists for coming future.

The Chief Minister said that the state government has deliberately chosen this holy land for launching of this important project. He said that everyday lakhs of pilgrims pay obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib, Durgiana Mandir, Sri Valmiki Tirath and other places. Bhagwant Mann said that this is land of martyrs and the state government is committed for cherish their aspirations.

The Chief Minister said that successive governments in the state have plundered the wealth of Punjab. He said that his government is duty bound to put the perpetrators of this heinous crime behind the bars. Bhagwant Mann said that no stone will be left unturned for to punish these culprits of the state who have looted the money from state exchequer.

Reiterating the firm commitment of the state government to open new vistas of employment for youth, the Chief Minister said that the state government has given 25886 government jobs to the youth of the state in mere 10 months of its tenure. He said that ever since assuming the charge of office, his government has handed over these job letters to youth in various departments. Bhagwant Mann said that such a whopping number of jobs in merely 10 months reflect the commitment of the state government to ensure the well being of youth and opening new avenues of employment for them.

Meanwhile, in his address Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal lauded the Chief Minister for taking historic pro-people initiatives for progress of state and prosperity of its people. He said that people of Punjab had created a history by giving a whopping mandate to the party. Kejriwal said that all the big leaders of the traditional parties were routed out during these elections and fresh faces have got chance to serve the people.

The Delhi Chief Minister said that in mere ten months of assuming charge of office, the Bhagwant Mann government has taken revolutionary steps for welfare of people and transformation of state. He said that today 500 Aam Aadmi clinics have operationalised in state whereas Delhi, which gave this model to the country, took a long time to achieve this target. Kejriwal said that due to strenuous efforts of Chief Minister, Punjab is today second most peaceful state in the country.

The Delhi Chief Minister said that Bhagwant Mann hails from common family and is well aware of problems
Of state and its people. He said that the Punjab Chief Minister has proved that he is a grass root leader who is concerned about the state and its people. Kejriwal said that earlier the Chief Ministers of state used to be from affluent families but for the first time in history of state a commoner has been elected for this post.

On the occasion Chief Minister also felicitated Arvind Kejriwal.
