Vigilance summons former minister Brahm Mohindra for third time, asked to appear on March 9

Chandigarh: The Punjab Vigilance Bureau has summoned former Congress Minister Brahm Mohindra for the third time. The former minister has been summoned for March 9 to appear before the vigilance.

It may be recalled that he has been summoned twice by the Vigilance in the past but he did not appear before the VB in both appearances. He and his family have been accused of spending more than their income in six years.
On February 24, he was summoned for questioning at the Vigilance office in Mohali in connection with the disproportionate assets case. Investigations by the Vigilance Bureau have revealed that Mohindra and his family members have spent more money than their income in the last six years. The VB had also written to revenue officials to check the records of other properties, including mohindra’s farmhouse in New Chandigarh.
