Saurabh Bhardwaj and Atishi take oath as Delhi ministers

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs Saurabh Bhardwaj and Atishi took oath as ministers in the Arvind Kejriwal cabinet on Thursday.

Saurabh Bhardwaj and Atishi took oath as ministers at LG House in Delhi. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other ministers of the Delhi government were also present on the occasion.
Manish Sisodia had resigned as deputy chief minister as well as another minister after he was arrested in connection with the Delhi excise policy scam case. Along with him, Satyendra Jain also resigned from the post of Health Minister. The resignations of both were accepted by CM Kejriwal.
It was then sent to the President, where Sisodia and Jain’s resignations were accepted. Also, the names of AAP MLAs Saurabh Bhardwaj and Atishi were sent by the Delhi government for the new ministerial post, which was approved. After this, Saurabh Bhardwaj and Atishi took oath as ministers on Thursday.
