NIA raids several places in Jammu and Kashmir, action against terror funding

New Delhi: The NIA team is conducting raids in several parts of Kashmir including Srinagar, Shopian, Pulwama, Anantnag and Kulgam.

According to sources, the raids are related to cases of terror funding and other terrorist activities. According to sources, the houses of most people associated with Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) are being searched during the raid.
According to the information, the NIA team has raided the Wachi area of Shopian district. Along with this, raids are going on in Nehma, Lttar in Pulwama district and Fresal area of Kulgam district. An NIA team has also reached Achawal district of Anantnag, where the raid is yet to begin.
