NZC meeting in Amritsar: CM Mann raises issue of floods
Amtitsar News: The 31st meeting of the Northern Zonal Council has started after the arrival of Home Minister Amit Shah in Amritsar. Punjab Governor Banwari Lal Purohit is sitting on one side of the Home Minister, while Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is on the other side. Apart from him, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar is also on the stage.
In the meeting, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann raised the issue of problems faced in the flood-affected areas. CM Mann said that when Punjab was drowning in floods, the states demanding water have shown their back.
CM Mann has demanded that such a problem should not come forward.
Earlier, Home Minister Amit Shah was escorted by CM Bhagwant Mann at the Taj Hotel. Himachal CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, chief ministers of various states as well as two senior ministers from each state, lieutenant governors/administrators of union territories arrived to attend the meeting.
