NISAU UK, London Met sign MoU to boost opportunities for Indian students in Britain

London: The National Indian Students and Alumni Union (NISAU) UK and London Metropolitan University have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote students’ academic journeys, employment opportunities, international education and policy partnerships.

NISAU UK said the agreement with the university, popularly known as London Met, was signed at an event held in the House of Lords complex last week.

The partnership will focus on the “triple helix model”, bringing together academic institutions, employers and policymakers from India and the UK on a common platform, the organisation said.

London Metropolitan University vice-chancellor Professor Julie Hall said the institution’s aim had always been clear.

“At London Met, our purpose has always been clear. We want to make a positive difference to people’s lives through education,” she said.
